Andrea Branzi comes from Florence and is today one of the most important Italian designers.
Born in 1938, Andrea Branzi studied architecture in his hometown of Florence. In 1966 he co-founded the highly influential architecture collective Archizoom Associati, which played a key role in defining the Radical Design movement in Italy. Archizoom's utopian vision rested on the belief that new materials and technologies should be used in creating more flexible and communal urban environments.
